A really lovely and spacious base with excellent facilities, surrounded by beautiful views and walks. On a very friendly site. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area. Dumfries and Galloway well worth the visit and this accommodation makes it special

100 Fabulous, lodge was fully equipped with everything you need, we tend to eat in cooking facilities a dream for me. Freezer etc of the best quality. Inside sofas etc excellent. Beds so comfortable, bath for me was to die for. Outside hot tub was great, us oldies could have done with extra lighting. Fantastic Views, pub basically ideal distance, serves fantastic Sunday roast a real treat! Lodge so clean, on arrival, we left it as we found it. Loads activities if you want them on site. Only one minor thing on site shop was poor. It was oct may be better in season? We will defo be back, the best place we have ever been. See you next summer! Cant wait. Mary and Andy.

Beautiful, exceptionally clean lodge, a real home from home, theres absolutely everything you need. We felt really welcome and relaxed here with our dog. With fantastic views over the Loch and the 360 views are amazing, there were clear skies at night to see the millions of stars above us. The pub onsite is the most friendliest of places serving great food and is dog friendly. During our stay we visited the gorgeous towns and villages around us and had a fab time away.

Superb lodge in a brilliant location. Exceptional views and lovely walks nearby. Lodge was immaculate, very well equipped with top of the range kit. Would highly recommend.

Remotes on tv not working very well,even after buying new batteries. Lack of hand towels. Otherwise all excellent, no.complaints.

The lodge is absolutely amazing. The views are beautiful over the loch. There is everything in the lodge that you would need. The hot tub was lovely and warm. The lidge was imaculate bueatifully furnushed with fabulous views. The only problem was the disrance from restaurants in the evening. There is a bar and resaurant on site which we used a couple of times they also do take out but as we eat out every night while on hols we had to drive miles but this is only drawback

In our price range of all the many Sykes holiday properties in which we have stayed, No. 1 Fisherman's Hill has been the one with most 'extras' to make it a most enjoyable stay and not forgetting the welcome pack in the fridge! At the top of the site we had great views over to the hills and lochs, and it was a quiet location. All of which made it a most memorable holiday.

Absolutely stunning lodge, very much a luxury home, lots of lovely little finishing touches. Very comfortable, fabulous shower, all facilities were excellent. Great sized fridge freezer. Wrap around deck is huge with amazing views. Views from hot tub are beautiful but it's also well positioned to feel secluded. Such a well thought out lodge. Lots of lovely walks nearby and a pubrestaurant on site with great food. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to go back. Owners were very helpful, very communicative and friendly. We have have been taking selfcatering holidays both in the UK and France for many, many years and can honestly say that our 1 week stay at 1 Fisherman's Hill at 3 Lochs was the best yet. The lodge exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable, well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The placement of the lodge in the park is outstanding taking advantage of the beautiful views all around. The decking with outdoor furnishings was perfect and as the weather was so good another added bonus we were able to sit outside in May! Would love to have used the hot tub but with so many gardens and attractions to visit, there just wasn't the time! A memorable holiday thank you.

We had a small issue with bedding on arrival but Dougie and Carol were very quick to resolve the issue. The lodge was amazing well equipped and the welcome goodies were a lovely touch especially the ones for our fur baby. Slightly problem with water which was no fault of the owners but they kept us informed on the situation. Would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone.

This lodge is wonderful! It has everything you need. It is finished to a very high standard and it's in a beautiful spot overlooking the lochs. Looking up at the stars from the hot tub was amazing! Didn't want to leave. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. 5 Luxury.

We could not find the property when we arrived, the whole park has little no lighting. We called both numbers on the booking form but no one answered. There are no street names to indicate where it was. We had to knock a door and we were lucky that the door we knocked knew the place really well. When we did get to the right lodge it had no markings to indicate that it was the correct one either. We had to confirm it was the correct lodge by the Key box being the correct number from the booking. When we entered the lodge it was very cold, there was no heating on and no timer set to put it on so i had to read the instructions and then spend the week switching it back on constantly

Absolutely beautiful place. Lodge is full of luxury. We will be returning next year, hopefully a little longer than this stay. Wonderful hot tub. Thank you

What a fantastic property, the attention to detail and extra touches were fantastic, the hot tub was amazing and the site itself was beautiful. We ate at the site restaurant and food was very good, staff very friendly, all in all a wonderful weekend and we will definitely return x

The lodge is absolutely stunning, the inside is immaculate and decorated to a very high standard. The lodge is equipped with everything you would need for your break from electric blankets on the beds to the ninja airfryer, a shelf full of books if your an avid reader. Sitting on that balcony having a coffee looking out over the Loch is just so serene and the hot tub is a superb addition. We were left welcome gifts and our dog got treats which was so thoughtful. Have already recommended this lodge to others and hope we can book again. The owners have done an incredible job with this lodge.

The most beautiful lodge,very well equipped with everything you need. home from home, superb views over the site and lochs. The wrap round decking area and furniture was ideal we had sunshine all week which helped us enjoy our stay even more. Hot tub was great. Carol and Dougie left us some lovely treats which was a very welcome bonus. 100 would recommend a stay there, we will certainly like to visit again. We also had some lovely days out during our week, Port Patrick a lovely little fishing village, Stranraer to the Oyster festival, Newton Stewart, really lovely countryside in Dumfries & Galloway.

The lodge was stunning, attention to detail fantastic. Furniture and fittings of very high standard. Decor, was like a 5star hotel. Comfortable patio seating, views amazing and sense of peace and tranquility was just what we needed. The owners have thought of everything from leaving milk ect to even having a Ninja in the kitchen which we loved. The site is well kept and maintained with plenty to do if you wish thou still in keeping with the overall sense of peace. We will be back and wished we had booked for a longer stay.

I would definitely recommend this lodge. Throughout is luxury and theres everything you could possibly need. The beds are really comfy, everything was spotlessly clean, amazing views, site barrestaurant was great and little welcome gifts supplied. Thank you so much! We loved our week spent here.

The property was well equipped with ironboard hairdryer fairly liquid etc but couldnt find this information on your own description of the property so this would help. The only thing was I assumed that as there was a dishwasher there would have been a tablet provided to allow us to ensure what was used was cleaned fully but as this was not the case I needed to purchase as I could have brought some myself. It wasnt an issue but I think this would add to the experience. We had a perfect time and so much better than a hotel room.

We have just returned from a lovely break, the lodge is a true home from home! It has everything you need and more. The hot tub is an added bonus and was used each night. The views from all windows of the lodge are amazing. I would definitely recommend, one of the nicest lodges we have stayed in.

Absolutely fantastic place. Everything in the lodge is of high standard. The photos on the site don't do the view justice. The property is in an elevated position and looks right over to the loch. Had a few drinks in the club and everyone was so friendly. Definitely be looking to book again.

1 fishermans lodge was very clean and comfortable and had everything you need. The restaurant on site was good and staff friendly. The lodge itself is in a good elevated position with good views. The road to the site is single lane with passing places which is used by logging lorries.
