To reach The Bishop by car, take the A74(M) to Moffat and follow signs for Beattock. The shepherd's hut is located within the grounds of a country mansion and you'll have convenient off-road parking for two cars upon arrival.
For those traveling by rail, the nearest station is Lockerbie, about 17 miles away. From there, you'll need to take a taxi to The Bishop. We recommend booking your taxi in advance as services can be limited.
